The function of mud board

How to maintain the car mud board

I. Daily Cleaning and Maintenance

• • For regular driving on urban roads: Clean the mudguards and wheel arch areas simultaneously every 1-2 weeks when washing the car.
  • For driving on muddy/gravel roads or in coastal areas with high salt content: Clean them promptly after each trip to prevent long-term adhesion of salt and mud.
  • First, rinse the surface and gaps of the mudguards with a high-pressure water gun (low-pressure mode) to wash away the attached mud, gravel, and soil.
  • Apply neutral car wash liquid and scrub gently with a soft-bristle brush or sponge. Avoid using a hard-bristle brush to scratch the surface of the mudguards (especially those made of plastic).
  • Focus on cleaning the gaps between the mudguards and the car body, as well as the areas around the screws and buckles, to prevent loosening or rusting caused by accumulated mud and sand.

Rinse off the foam with clean water and dry the mudguards with a cloth or let them air dry naturally, avoiding residual car wash liquid that could accelerate aging.
